Pool Industry Affiliations
Since 1957, Florida Bonded Pools has been a leading commercial and residential swimming pool builder in Jacksonville Florida. We take seriously a code of ethics to ensure your pool meets your exacting demands. We are also proud of our industry memberships and contributions to the community.
Master Pools Guild
The Master Pools Guild was formed in 1962 by a small group of quality independent pool building craftsmen who realized the potential of sharing ideas and pooling their buying power. Pool construction was evolving with the marketplace demanding bigger and better designs than ever before. Over the next fifty years Guild members worked together to build and service some of the most beautiful pools and spas in the world – sharing construction techniques and technology of both equipment and water chemistry.
Members are carefully selected based on their market position as an elite custom pool builder in their region – with a specialization in custom concrete construction for the majority of their pools. They must be craftsmen, operating with a strong commitment to high quality, customer service and business ethics. Membership opportunities sometimes become available due to demographic shifts, but the main expansion of membership will be international in our effort to realize our vision of being a truly global network.
Jeffrey Clarkson, Owner of Florida Bonded Pools, is the Vice Chairman of the Master Pools Guild.

UPSA
United Pool & Spa Association (UPSA) was chartered in 1983 as a non-profit trade association. It was originally organized to serve the interests of commercial pool contractors and their associates, suppliers, and the engineers that design public pools. In recent years UPSA has expanded its membership to welcome solid residential swimming pool builders, as well as swimming pool service contractors, particularly those serving the commercial and public pool trade.
UPSA exists to create and maintain a better business environment for the members. The association is active in government agency liaison and oversight, safety promotion, education and providing networking opportunities for all members.
UPSA will continue to seek new and creative solutions to industry challenges. By attracting those who appreciate our approach, which uses a non-confrontational and consensus building style, we expect modest, but controlled growth.
UPSA is registered with the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board as a CE Course provider. Our courses are non-commercialized and inexpensive. They are offered to the trade at our Annual Meeting and Expo and at seminars and workshops regularly scheduled in major metropolitan markets throughout the state. Refer to our calendar page in this website for upcoming educational events.
