Building Your Dream Pool
Congratulations on your decision to purchase your backyard dream. You will find Florida Bonded Pools a unique pool company, with over 8,000 pools built in northeast Florida and South Georgia over the past 52 years. It is our goal to professionally assist you as your consultant in making the very best decision for you and your family.
The purpose of our first visit is to provide you with information on the process of how we go about starting your project. It would be very helpful if a copy of your property survey is available for our appointment at that time.
Some specific details we will discuss are:
- Access (possible neighbor access if necessary)
- Set Back, such as distance from home to pool and property
set back (as per code). As I mentioned above, having a copy
of your survey will be very helpful showing easements, etc.
- A.R.B & local building codes
- Backyard safety procedures during the construction process.
We will discuss size, shape and overall details of your project while keeping in mind your needs and your budget and we will assist and advise you with your very best interest at heart.
We will then work hard with our design department to put on paper a conceptual design that will help you visualize your project in your backyard. Upon my 2nd visit, we will sit down and review this concept drawing and the proposed cost to you.
Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with the very best value for your budget and a project we both will be proud of for years to come.

Design
One of the first steps in the design phase is to examine your site survey and have one of our award winning designers place your new pool in an area that best suites your needs for entertaining friends and family, or perhaps a secluded get away with more privacy. The following are some examples of what your concept may look like…
Here are some of our most popular pools built of the past 52 plus years!
After we have finalized the perfect pool for you, the next step is the Architectural Review Board (ARB), Home Owners Association (HOA), and permit drawings. These drawings are required in some communities to show the ARB/HOA that you are going to adhere to there regulations. Typically the county regulations for permitting are the same as the ARB/HOA regulations. The following drawings are the main pool page of these types of drawings, there are typically 5 pages depending on if there is a screen enclosure to be added.
The final phase in the design project comes after our design department visits the location and takes measurements and grade shots. They also take a very careful look at any obstacles that may arise, typically these obstacles have already been noticed by this phase by the salesperson, but we realize the importance in checking behind each other to make sure there are no surprises for you during the construction of your swimming pool (the construction superintendent also checks prior to the pool layout when he comes to the site to explain and sign off on the working drawings). The following are a couple of examples of the detail we take to make sure there are no mistakes on your job.
